Based on the client’s application, the inspection body will prepare a quotation for the audit service. The quotation is based upon the level of effort required to carry out the audit – e.g. farm or group size, type of crop(s), geographic setting and distribution of farms – and the costs associated with the service – e.g. auditor daily rates, travel costs and administrative support. To reduce administrative costs, the client may directly provide lodging, transport and meals for the auditors (as indicated on the application).
